Tool Box

A tool box from upcycled cardboard. The drawer pull has been designed to not get in the way when the box is closed. It’s shaped like a “truncated quadrangular prism” (a somewhat imposing name, we know), where the back of the drawer is the same height as the space, while the front is lower, allowing you to easily hook your finger in to pull it out. This is a brand-new design, so be sure to check it out!

Bento Grid Organizer

Japanese lunch boxes called “Bento” are compartmentalized containers to separate different food types; lately, this idea was applied to UI design, called “Bento Grid”. I think this is a good idea to apply cardboard organizer too! Let’s make it!

A sturdy wall cabinet using cardboard. For this project, I’m using 7mm thick double-wall cardboard. While I usually fold 4mm thickness into 8mm for added strength, this time I’m trying a different approach: hiding the corrugated edges with tabs instead of creating grooves.
